Deep and heavy snow in October

Decided to check out coverage after last night's storm. Found at least 3 feet of very heavy, dense snow, with most obstacles fully covered in the low angle terrain. Breaking trail was a rough go with knee deep sinking into heavy snow on top of shrubbery, with very little settlement yet. The bottom of the storm snow near the base of the snowpack was very wet and grabby, while the top of the storm snow couldnt support weight, so sinking and getting stuck while descending was par for the course at this elevation and slope angle. Still good times.  :-)
