Potential Avalanche Crowns Visible on Sunflower Mountain

With the improved visibility continuing today (12/13/22) I scanned some of the high ridgelines in the northern Carson Range searching for recent avalanches. What appeared to be several avalanche crowns were visible on the east face of Sunflower Mountain. Details were quite difficult to confirm from the distance I was observing but multiple potential avalanches estimated from R1-D1 to R2-D3 were identified. Event dates, avalanche types, and failure planes are unknown.

This peak is also known as Snowflower Mountain on some topos. This area is outside of the forecast zone.
