Strong snowpack, including Dec 1st facets, at Blue Lakes

After finding weak facets on the E Shore the other day, I thought I should dig to them again today around Blue Lakes. My first location (pindrop and video) showed a strong snowpack on top of relatively strong facets. I then moved to another location closer to the ridge above Border Ruffian, and found a deeper snowpack but similar layering, including the Dec 1st facets. I didn't find any buried surface hoar at either of the locations, nor with informal obs made in between the two locations. There were several places with old surface hoar still at the surface, though the crystals were fallen over and decomposing.

The day was warm and breezy, with cloud cover minimizing solar input. I saw no signs of instability today.
