Remote triggered avalanche on Tamarack Peak

We toured Tamarack Peak today. For most of our tour we had a few localized collapses, unstable snowpit data, and saw blowing snow while sticking to sub 30 degree slopes. Towards the end of our tour we remotely triggered a size D2 avalanche in NE aspect, near treeline, at about 9,800'. After examining the avalanche we remotely triggered, we came across another avalanche that appeared to have occurred sometime last night in steeper, more heavily wind loaded terrain. The snowpit is not form the site of the avalanche, but it is representative of the snowpack at the site of the avalanche, but with less wind load.

Here are the details on the remotely triggered avalanche: We had stopped in low angle, sub 30 degree terrain below treeline with no steeper terrain above. I stepped off of my ski and my boot penetrated down into the Dec 1 faceted PWL in the lower portion of the snowpack. That triggered a loud whumpf and we felt a full slope size collapse. We began looking around and saw the avalanche we had just triggered that was not present on the slope we had viewed moments before.

The location I triggered from was about 200 feet away from the toe of the debris and around the corner a bit to the SE. The collapse I triggered traveled across a sub 30 degree N aspect below treeline slope and into the adjacent near treeline NE aspect, 35 degree slope angle terrain where the avalanche occurred. The section of the bowl where the avalanche occurred was the only portion over 30 degrees in slope angle. There were long cracks across the sub 30 degree N aspect slope between the trigger pint and the avalanche. Where the ski tracks are located on the climbers right side of the avalanche is 26 to 28 degree slope angle with a bit of ESE aspect to it. Those ski tracks were already on the slope prior to when I triggered the avalanche.
