Ectps and whumphing at Incline Peak

Skiied at Incline Peak this morning for a quick adventure before other work. We made a plan to avoid any terrain steeper than 30 degrees or anything connected to steep terrain. Good shallow powder conditions skiied great in lower angle terrain. 
On the ascent we heard/felt a whumph on a NE aspect at about 8800'. Dug a quick pit nearby and found the 12/1 facet layer as expected. Dry at this location but clumping after squeezing- angular grains obvious in a gloved hand. ECTP 28 on the 12/1 facets at this location. See photos. 
Dug a second pit on a N aspect at 9300' at location noted on map. 12/1 facets are dry with no clumping at this location. ECTP 8 on 12/1 facets here. No pics from this spot. 
On return to the transition spot at the base of the NE bowl near the creek we felt another large whumph.
