Conditions on Andesite

Deep dense snow on Andesite ridge. Slightly lighter on surface but denser in mid snowpack depth with penetration above knee and possible to mid thigh with more pressure applied while skiing.  Hip level penetration possible in deposit zones lower in trees off the ridge. 

No significant signs of cracking, whumpfing or settling during travel on moderate slopes or in trees.  We did it travfel on steeper slopes on Andesite peak. 

No signs of avalanche or snow collapse on any terrain from castle valley road up to Andesite ridge.
