Heavy Snow at Ebbetts Pass

At least 3 feet of new, fresh snow has fallen on top of a few inches of crust. We were unable to make it into avalanche terrain because of how deep the new snow was and poor visibility. We made fresh tracks at Pacific Valley Road and could only make it a few hundred yards before getting stuck and turning around. We made fresh tracks on Hwy 4 and Highland Lakes Road from Hermit Valley to Highland Lakes. Evidence of wind blown snow in multiple directions but mostly from the south.
