Propagation on Relay Peak

Toured around Relay Peak today hoping to dig on a Northerly aspect and ski South. We found widespread windslab formation on NW-N-NE aspects up to 6 in. We dug on a NE aspect to see if the 1/4 RC was reactive, but not expecting much. However we found that our ECT propagated. I was a bit surprised by this so I repeated the test and found that the same layer propagted again. I honestly wasn't expecting much from the pit tests today so I didn't bring a loupe or card so I wouldn't feel comfortable assessing the grains in the propogating weak layer.
