Amazing conditions

Snowfall all day continued to increase the depth of the storm snow. We measured around 100cm of new for a storm total up to Sunday around 2pm. 
 

we found some cracking in the upper snowpack up to 50cm deep when finding small test slopes, however only when isolating with putting a track low on the slop then putting another track above it.

our compression tests showed sudden results  in the storm snow, however our ECTs did not propagate across the full column. 
 

we did observe three shallow wind slab avalanches D1 or smaller. However lots of wind loading evidence with large cornices and plenty of snow being transported led us to believe larger winds slabs could be possible in the upper elevation terrain.

we rode low angle terrain by riding one at a time, spacing out and keeping eyes on. So we got some amazing powder turns, while avoiding avalanche terrain.
