Small wind slab avalanche on Incline Peak

The north face of Incline Peak had wind slabs on areas of exposed terrain. The slabs were dense and noticeable with occasional cracks appearing in the slabs after we rode over at low angle. We observed a small wind slab avalanche crown and flank at 8800' that had a small debris field below that just barely pushed through the trees (see photo). The crown started at the base of a cliff and ran into a small cluster of trees, the trigger is unknown. The slide appeared fresh since the edges on the crown and flank didn't look wind affected like the surrounding terrain. The crown was small at about 8". Sheltered terrain still held good powder thanks to the cold temperatures.
