Informal Obs on Stevens Peak

Toured around Stevens Peak N Bowl this morning. Informal obs I noted:

1020, E aspect, 7840 ft, below treeline, unreactive test slopes, PS 10 in

1040, NE aspect, 8050 ft, settlement cracks forming (picture included)

1055, E aspect, 8150 ft. 30 degree slope, cracking in switch back (picture included)

1115, NE aspect, 8600 ft, NE cornices (picture included)

1140, N-NE aspect, 9400 ft, looks like runnels below summit (picture included)

1200, NE aspect, 9500 ft, ridge top sastrugi (picture included)

PS was consistent until I got above tree line around 8600 ft, then decreased to 1-2 in intermixed with deeper wind drift pockets. I skied off a S/SE aspect of the bowl and for enjoyable skiing the back to the car.
