Warming, variable conditions depending on aspect

On any aspect with sun exposure, I encountered rapidly developing mank, and it was fully established by 1200.  It was present on E-S-W, with only NNE to NNW staying nice and dry above 7300' or so.

There was plenty of surface hoar in the usual spots in the morning, and when I left at 1700 temps had fallen and humidity had risen, so I'd expect more of it to develop.  Winds were nonexistent all day. Trees were rapidly losing their snow everywhere, as temps were above freezing.

No instabilities of any kind were noted.
