Widespread storm cycle avalanche activity near Carson Pass

Toured around the Carson Pass area today (3/15) and some widespread evidence of avalanches during the recent storm cycle. Wet slides in lower elevation areas (below 8000') and wind slab avalanches on NW-N-NE-E-SE aspects.

Largest one was from peak 9607. Wind slab avlanche ran down to 4th of July lake on the E-NE aspect. Crowns still fairly prominent. 
Also saw crowns below Sisters and Round Top on N aspects although mostly filled in. 

No signs of instability noted today with very supportable snow to travel on.
