Rain runnels, small loose wet point releases, large cornices in Deep Creek

Was expecting to see evidence of larger avalanche activity but only saw a couple of older loose wet slides in treed north facing terrain along with many small roller ball point releases on open south facing slopes. Still plenty of large cornices that seem wound up and ready to break.

Large rain runnels, intensely tree bombed slopes, and firm crusts, sometimes breakable, sometimes supportable made for very challenging travel conditions.
