A total of three small skier/snowboarder triggered avalanches occurred here on Jan 21. Failure layer was low density storm snow below higher density storm snow. All three avalanches occurred in pockets of steeper terrain within the greater slope. All three start zones measured 38 to 40 degrees in slope angle. This instability was less reactive when these photos were taken on Jan 22 and several additional skiers and snowboarders had descended the slope without incident.
