Dropping down into Crater lake from the ridge, we noticed lots of windloading.  From the rollover that goes into the steeps my partner ski cut the entrance and the slope went.  The slide started small than propagated into bigger and deeper slabs.  This was a serious avalanche that started quick slid fast and could have hurt or even killed someone.   I believe recent windloading made this slope dangerous
