Small natural avalanches similar to those observed near Grouse Rocks (Ward Canyon) on Feb 28. Soft slab failure within the upper portion of the storm snow. Avalanches occurred on Feb 28, photos taken on Mar 1. This non-persistent weak layer was no longer reactive in this area on Mar 1.
