More detailed information about the snowpack:

At a relatively steep rollover (about 39 degrees)  on Powderhouse, my party skinned up to a small (D1) slide that was apparently triggered by a skier/boarder. The snow that slid was very soft and only pulled away from the crown about 4-5 feet. The crown itself was about 16 inches tall. The bed surface was new stellar grains.
