Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Over 1 ft. of settlement since 11/28. The snowpack contiues to consolidate and bond. Test slopes, hand pits, and general observations showed a mostly stable snowpack. The snow surface was a mix of rain crusts and melt freeze crusts up to 7200 ft. Above that most open areas had a firm wind crust on the surface. On sheltered northerly aspects the surface snow was dense and soft.
