A second round of 5 pits were dug on a S,SW slope at 7600ft on the S side of Flagpole Peak. Consistent ECTN scores.
A thin surface crust was above a very low density DF layer that acted as a weak layer on skin track switchbacks - but previous E wind didn't transport enough snow for slab formation (PST 100/100 x2).
Two more crust layers were observed within the top 20cm of snowpack - a thin 1F layer at 15cm and a 3cm K layer at 20cm.
