Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

No evidence of slab instability on near treeline N-NE-E-SE-S aspects in this area. Slab present, bed surface present, but no weak layer. Excellent bonding of recent storm snow to the old snow melt freeze crust surface. Some skier triggered roller balls occurred on an E aspect adjacent to the snowpit location at 1pm but did not exceed 1 foot in diameter.
