More detailed information about the snowpack:

Stronge NNE winds begining yesterday morning stripped the high start zones of most NNW-N-NNE facing avalanche paths near and above treeline both in and out of the ski area. The faceted snow that existed prior to the wind event was easily transported by the strong winds. Observations were made on Slide Mt, Incline Lake Peak, and Tamarak Peak. All N facing start zones showed signs of significant snow removal.

Facets snow presist in lower start zones, mid-path, and in below treeline avalanche paths. With forecasted cold temps for this week, the contiunous patches of snow that presist in these lower startzones will continue to weaken.

No obvious snow deposition was noted on S-SW aspects.
