Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

 Frozen supportable melt-freeze crust below 2-4 inches of soft corn snow on the SE-S-SW aspects. The SE aspects had already started to refreeze and any other areas on southerly slopes that were shady had started to refreeze. No signs of instability on these aspects. On the northerly aspects a thick firm frozen rain crust existed with some facets beneath it existed in most areas.
