More detailed information about the snowpack:

Heavy wet snow existed on all aspects at all elevations between Sugarbowl and Squaw by the end of the day today. At 10am south facing slopes on Mt. Lincoln already had 2-3 inches of soft wet snow on the surface. This soft snow rested on a thin but still supportable melt-freeze crust. On the more north and northeast aspects between Mt Lincoln and Anderson Peak wet heavy snow existed by 11 am. ECTs performed on wind loaded slopes near avalanches that had occurred on Friday showed that the storm snow weaknesses seem to have consolidated but that wet snow instabilities could become a problem later in the day. By 1pm 6-8 inhces of wet heavy snow existed on the east and northeast aspects of Tinkers Knob at 8800 ft. Ski cuts on steep tests slopes in this area triggered roller balls and pinwheels up to 3 ft in diameter. By 2pm wet unconsolidated snow up to boot top height had formed on west and southwest aspects and more roller balls and pinwheels occured in response to ski cuts on steep slopes. Ski cuts on a steep east facing slope at 8200 ft above Shirley Canyon at 2:45 pm triggered large pinwheels and roller balls as well as wet snow sluff (see video and photo - gps coordinates are from this location).  While descending W-SW-S facing slopes into Shirley Canyon more roller balls, pinwheels, and small wet snow sluffs occurred in response to ski cuts on steep slopes.
