More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Lingering wind slab instability observed in the snowpit near the ridgeline in wind affected area. No test slopes were steep enough to create failure of this layer on ski cuts. The Dec 2nd facet layer appears stable at this specific location until further new snow loading occurs. All faceting was observed below the Dec 2 rain crust at this location.
