Evidence of faceting all along the N-NE aspect avalanche start zones in this area, including the location of the Dec 30 snowpit. Variable rates of faceting noted within different layers. In the vast majority of areas, the snowpack remains supportable, with isolated areas of greater faceting and foot pen to 30 cm.
