Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Significant rounding of moist snow grains at what was the persistent weak layer at this location. Little evidence of faceted forms remained in this snowpit. The snowpack here shows indications of strength gains in recent days. The entire HS is mostly moist snow with wet snow at the surface.

Ski cuts on several N aspect 40 degree test slopes below treeline produced no wet surface snow failures.
