On a 39 degree (clinometer measured) slope facing NNE at about 8000 feet I started a few small wind slab slides this evening.  They were stiff small slabs about 2-4" thick. Crack propagation was limited to less than a few feet.  Only a few small (max of about 25SF) wind pollows cut loose and none ran very far.
