This is on a SE facing slope at about 8300' below Andesite Peak.  We dug a snow pit to see how reactive the wind slab was, given our pit results from yesterday and the elevated advisory.  Our test found ECTP18 Q2 @45cm below surface, as well as a Q3 fracture in the top 15cm that we missed during the first 18 taps.  The top Q3 fracture was in the wind slab, as expected.  We were surprised by how easily the 45cm deep fracture occurred.  The snow depth was 210cm at this location.
