More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Warm temps on Jakes Peak with temps into the 40's by 11am today.  Upper elevation NE aspects still holding soft unconsolidated snow in protected areas, most East aspects are a mixed bag of transitional snow with punchy conditions at 10am.  South aspects have ski supportable snow with the top 3-4'' being wet by 10:30am.  Upper elevation south aspects skied well down to 7500' with all aspects below 7500' being wet and sticky by 11am.

Photo#2:  Skiing down at 11am most turns resulted in roller ball activity below turns, this involved the top 3-4'' of wet surface snow.
