Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

No evidence of instability was observed in this area today. Formal snowpit tests investigating wind slabs and persistent slabs indicated good stability. Continued storm snow settlement was evidenced by small settlement cones and settlement cracks around trees. By 2 pm, the snow below 7,600' on all aspects had experienced surface melt and was primed for the formation of a thin melt-freeze surface crust during refreeze tonight.
