More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Some skier-triggered shooting cracks up to 6 ft. in length occurred on the wind loaded test slopes near the top of Incline Lake Peak this afternoon. The failure occurred about 8-12 inches below the snow surface. Below the ridgeline we did not see any other signs of instability.
