More detailed information about the snowpack: 

This pit was dug just off the road before you get to the saddle before the relay towers. The pit objective was to find and test wind slabs on near ridgeline areas on north to east facing slopes. Two compression tests revealed three separate failures all resistant planar in quality and CTH results. ECT results did not propagate and the one in the video broke vertically 30cm across the block.
