More detailed information about the snowpack:

Travel in this area today was limited to W and NW aspects. Conditions were very similar to what has been observed around the rest of the forecast area over the past week. A solid overnight refreeze occurred in this area last night at all elevations. Conditions were still ski and boot supportable when departing the area at 4 pm. Photos taken at 1 pm at 9,100' on the north ridge (noted lat/long) show wet snow boot pen of 1 cm on subtle S aspect and a patch of wind affected snow on a N aspect, unaffected be melt-freeze. Descending W and NW aspects at 2 pm reveled 1 cm of wet surface snow at 9,100' increasing to 3 cm of wet surface snow down at 7,400'. No evidence of instability was observed.
