Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

Pic: Signs of settlement. Snow from the recent storm events was observed to be warm and dense.

Video: Poor audio due to wind. Although wind slab still rests on top of lower density snow, no signs of propagation were observed today via mitt pits, ECTNs, and ski cuts of previously wind loaded slopes up to high point of 9800ft.

Snow surface at all elevations observed was undergoing wet metamorphism for a variety of reasons; warm temperatures, recent wet snow/rain, not-quite-freezing fog above 9000ft, and today's afternoon rain showers observed below appx 9000ft. Although ridgetop winds were strong, no significant wind transport was observed due to lack of available dry surface snow.
