More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Only a few inches of new snow in this area, with less wind than forecasted. Generally dust on crust conditions, with few deeper drifts. On N aspects above 8500ft 5cm of new snow on top of 10cm of facets resulted in soft snow conditions. No deep enough accumulation of new snow to be of concern was observed today.
