More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Reactive basal facets present on Rubicon Peak at multiple locations below treeline and near treeline.  These facets were reactive to snowpack tests with the overlying slab and weak layer showing some variability in strength at different locations-no other signs of instabilities were observed in the area today.  Early season snowpack conditions exist at all elevations on north aspects with many obstacles.
