More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Strong NE ridgetop winds were redistributing snow along the Sierra Crest this morning. Blowing snow was visible from most areas with a view of the Crest. Deposition was occurring fairly far down slope and spread out over a large area. Some amount of sublimation may have been occurring as well, limiting deposition. No new wind slabs large enough to pose a hazard to backcountry travelers were observed on the SW flanks of Castle Peak.
