More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Trying to identify the persistent weak layer at depth previosuly reported, however test was performed at shallow angle.  Pit in protected area. Few and very thin faceted layers observed above ice layers from 12/15 and previous previous rain event.  Of note was unsuspected shallower shear plane at aprox 30 cm depth.
