More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Snow cover exists above 9000' on north aspects.  The snowpack consists of mostly faceted snow and a variety of crusts.  These facets range in strength but seem to be weaker at the upper elevations.  Warmer air temperatures today with increasing SW winds throughout the day as the next storm approaches.
