More detailed information about the snowpack:

Photo 1: Under tree cover, the overnight freeze on south east facing slopes was minimal as off 8:30am.

Photo 2: Shallow loose wet activity occurred in response to ski cuts on steep south facing slopes at 10:15am.

Photo 3: Large cornices with old debris on Echo Peak looking ominous during the warmth of the day.

Photo 4: Huge holes around creeks in this area and crossing Angora Creek is getting more difficult.

Video: The loose wet slide (from Photo 2) continued slowly down the slope. The snow on this steep SE slope was close to true corn but not all the way transitioned. Skied well, with minimal ski penetration, and 10:15 am but as the day warmed it likely became too wet later.
