Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Trace to 1'' of new snow in this area overnight.  Strong to gale force NE winds with cold temperatures through the day.  Limited available snow for transport with minor wind loading and some very small wind deposits just off of ridgelines on southerly aspects.  These small wind slabs did show some cracking but did not extend down slope and did not present an issue for travel.  Firm snow conditions existed on many aspects due to melt freeze crusts and wind scoured surfaces with no softening today.  Unconsolidated soft snow still exists, due to near surface faceting, and can be found on wind protected northerly aspects.
