More detailed information about the snowpack: 

3-4'' of new snow in Castle Valley this morning below treeline at 7400'.  On southerly aspects, this new snow was on firm melt freeze crusts.  On northerly aspects, it sat on top of a layer of near surface facets.  Mostly sunny skies throughout the late morning and into the afternoon.  Light westerly winds in the meadow with no visible blowing snow over Andesite or Castle Peaks.
