More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Consistent strong NE winds throughout the day today.  NE winds were moving large amounts of snow and scouring snow surfaces in open terrain in near treeline and above treeline terrain.  Small wind loaded test slopes on S-SW-W aspects had up to 1' wind slabs but no cracking was observed.  Below treeline, dense high density snow existed.
