More detailed information about the snowpack: 

On the lower ESE aspect of schallenberger Ridge there was 67cm of light density snow on top of a 2cm crust.  Below the crust was 25 cm of rounded grains and at 90cm was the Jan 8 rain event.  We found no evidence of wind or storm slab in this area.
