More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Light East winds and warm temperatures occurred throughout this area today up to 9600'.  East winds were not moving snow throughout the day but there was plenty of evidence of previous scouring of exposed terrain.  Exposed N-NE-E aspects were wind scoured near and above treeline.  Snow did get transported overnight and created small wind slabs on SW-W-NW aspects.  These wind slabs were mostly small (up to 6-8'') and did not extend very far downslope.  Small isolated cracking did occur in wind loaded terrain but was in isolated areas and propagation was limited.
