Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

No signs of instability observed on Waterhouse Peak today. Increasing SW winds were moving very minor amounts of old snow during gusts. Drifting snow amounts were insufficient to produce any new wind slabs of problematic size. Slow snow surface melt was observed on S aspects near the summit a 9,400'. Test pit near the summit revealed no signs of instability within the top 100 cm (3.3 ft) of the snowpack.
