More detailed information about the snowpack:

Windy and snowy conditions all day with snow line around 7000' mid morning. Wind was transporting snow more in the higher elavations than down low. This was due to colder temps and less riming of the falling snow. Precipition rate was up to 2''/hr most of the day. Pit profile showed 100cm of new snow @9200'. Whumping and cracks were observed throughout the approach in flat and sloped areas. Stability tests showed some CT Q3's within the density changes of recent storm slab and also signs of deep instability with a CT9 SC @ 25cm. The Dec. 12th rain crust was observed 110CM from the top and near crust facets were present. Despite no results from CT or ECT on this layer, PST resulted PST@20cm End. No other signs of instabilties observed.
