Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Rain and moderate SW wind at 3:00pm at Negro Canyon.  On the W aspect in open areas away from trees boot pen was 6" and ski pen 1" to 2".  The snow surface was wet and unconsolidated.   Ski conditions were slow and heavy.  We saw no avalanche activity in this area.
