Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Warm temperatures and few clouds made for wet, unsuportable snow on W and SW aspects from 6600' thru 7600'.  Boot penetration at 6700' at 12:30 was 15 cm. Unconsolidated snow made for slow, grabby, and heavy ski conditions. Old cornice fall was observed across the valley on E facing ridge at 7,100' that appeared recent. Ski cuts on NE facing test slopes at 6800' produced small loose wet avalanches.
